What image works best for image-to-3D generation?

Use a sharp image with one object, a simple background, limited occlusion, and enough visual information to infer the object silhouette and materials.

What file format can I download?

The current workflow returns a GLB file that can be previewed in the browser and imported into common 3D tools.

Do I need a local GPU?

No local GPU is required for the web generator. The upstream TRELLIS.2 repository has separate Linux and NVIDIA GPU requirements for local installation.

Which image-to-3D model should I choose?

Use TRELLIS 2 for its PBR and topology-oriented controls, then test another model with the same source image when speed, face-count, rigging, or workflow options matter more.
